Something about this poet

Thank you for visiting my blog. I am a London based poet with a fervent need to write about love. Life has taught me that this cyclic whirlwind can have a myriad of masks and leaves behind more than just good and bad scars on our very hearts. After recently losing a great love and best friend, I realised there was more to the movement than I could ever have envisioned. I have felt the breath of a woman, lived the dreams of a future, crumbled into an effervescent ocean, been torn limb from soul, softly kissed those angel lips and given birth to more passions than a man deserves. I hope to encompass these emotions with ample translation so that you may not only take away a small part of me but are also able to relate. This is my gift to you. X

    • Thank you very much Cairenn. Such a beautiful name as well 🙂 I think that loss has a two fold application of sorts. First we must accept the inevitable in that it is not where we thought the movement would carry us. Secondly that the heart needs healing of sorts. I guess there are a lot of cliches we can listen too but I find comfort in the concepts of others. I mean the beauty in anothers train of thought has a way of opening our eyes 🙂 I so look forward to reading your words 😀

      • Thank you for your kind reply. Your words are very poignant this morning. We can trust the promises of movement forward with open heart & open eyes, but still remain true to oneself. Sometimes we will discover that means the movement forward is travelling on alone. May not be what we hoped for, or believed in, but it becomes the truth. It is how we are centered in our sense of Be-ing that carries us along.
        Namaste 🙂

      • Yes, traveling alone can be a great source of discovery. Obviously without the preciseness of ‘love’ for oneself, I believe one cannot love another with pure heart. So being alone is a good way of correcting paradigms that may have been altered by another in a previous relationship perhaps. Having said that, the beginning of love… such a wonderful feeling and one I feel is our most precious gift in life 🙂

  1. scars are roadmaps to where you have been….
tracing them in our minds will sometimes show what we missed
as every broken road leads you to somewhere new to experience
    life from a different view….
I enjoyed your “about” your words are eloquent to the touch
Thank you for sharing you, I will enjoy wandering through your thoughts

      • I am like you…I laugh, I sigh, I have been hurt so I cry…mostly within words behind a closed door
your words have whispers in between that feel of living, experiencing, not just existing,
I fall down the rabbit hole these days as a memory creeps up on me even after 4 years…
but I wander back to read your thoughts…i really like them :0

  2. Hurt is ubiquitous and we search in autodidact ways to learn new coping strategies. Other words from like minded souls, touch us and enlighten us, teaching us to survive past what we once deemed finite. Your strength lies in a beauty not seen by one person. But it one man’s Dali is another man’s Mondrian 😉
